Dr. Dan Durrieu has been a practicing Chiropractor since 1997

Since starting his practice in Tampa, FL, Dr. Dan has been committed to a lifelong pursuit of increasing his expertise in chiropractic. He has extensive training in the area of natural healing techniques, exercise and nutrition. Dr. Dan specializes in spinal postural correction providing long term results for thousands of patients.

Family Background and Inspiration

Dr. Dan was born in Columbus OH, son of an Air Force Pilot. He traveled around until settling in Miami when he was in 3rd grade.

Inspiration toward chiropractic came from an experience when he was 16. Dan was very active in track and wrestling in High School. During a wrestling match he broke the last bone in his lower back. This left this very competitive young man virtually paralyzed on the mat. Everyone encouraged him to go to an orthopedic surgeon to resolve the injury. However there were a few close friends who convinced Dan to take a look at chiropractic.

After 6 months of chiropractic care Dan was able to walk without pain and able to move around with no problems in the fractured area. This amazed the young teenager and set him on a career path focused on helping the injured get healed naturally thereby eliminating the need for surgery and drugs.

Throughout his youth, Dan was a very sick and chronically on antibiotics. This included weekly allergy shots weekly and antibiotics every other month. To his surprise, the chiropractic care that helped heal his back also resolved his sickness nature. This was the first time in his life he had gone an entire year without being sick. From this teenage experience and for the past 27 years Dr. Dan has not taken a drug or needed a drug. He has never missed a day of work from being sick.

Personal

Dan is married to his beautiful wife Denise and blessed with three wonderful children. He is very active in Teaching & Helps Ministries at his church and regularly gives Health Seminars at local churches and community gatherings.
